services
-
DDG offers a full range of framing services, including museum quality matting, mounting, and custom woodworking. Our techniques and materials follow the standards required by museums worldwide to keep your collections safe for generations.
-
DDG specializes in custom millwork and hand finishes. Using sustainably harvested hardwoods and low VOC finishes, we are committed to the safety of our forests and our employees. We work with each piece on an individual basis, specifically designing finishes and profiles to uniquely compliment the artwork.
-
Light can be a major source of damage to artwork. DDG Frameshop offers UV protected glazings, including Optium acrylics and Art Glass, providing a minimum 93% UV protection. Even when not exposed to direct sunlight, harmful light can still be making its way to your artwork. Using a UV protected glazing is always a smart choice.

-
We use 4- or 8-ply 100% cotton rag museum boards and state of the art CNC mat cutting technology for all matting at DDG Frameshop. All artwork is attached to book mats using hinges with museum quality archival adhesives (such as wheat paste or BEVA) or lignin-free corners.
Matting only services are available for galleries and collectors.
-
We offer mounting services for photographs and other works on paper. Mounting is available on to museum board, sintra, dibond, aluminum, or other substrates of your choice.
-
At DDG, we believe art installation should be just as considered as the art itself. A thoughtful approach to the display of a collection is essential to its cohesiveness. Our team of artists and designers work together to create comprehensive layouts that unify collections with specific spaces in mind.
