DDG Frameshop’s Terms and Conditions

Limit of Liability

Although every care and attention is given to any work left with us for framing, all customers are advised to take their own precautions to ensure their work is fully covered against loss or damage.  DDG Frameshop will not be held liable for loss or damage beyond $100 USD. All or any artwork and/or other goods supplied by you or any third party to DDG Frameshop are supplied entirely at your own risk and will remain at your risk while in DDG Frameshop’s custody or their subcontractors (specifically pertaining to mounting). The framing advice offered is given in good faith and DDG Frameshop will not be held responsible for any loss or damage consequential or otherwise to such artwork. There is inherent risk in mounting and hinging and DDG Frameshop is not responsible for any changes or damaged that may occur to the artwork in the process. You should arrange and maintain adequate insurance to cover your responsibilities imposed by these terms.

Estimates, Pricing, and Payment

All estimates are valid for 30 days. While we always try to ensure that any estimate we give is as accurate as possible, the final price for any work cannot be confirmed until a firm order is placed and a deposit received. For projects that require special attention and/or experimental methods, the final pricing will be determined upon project completion. DDG Frameshop reserves the right to require full payment before commencing work on any order. All payment is due upon completion of framing. Invoices left open over 30 days will have a 6% finance charge added, reoccurring monthly. Additional storage fees may apply.

Timing and Deliveries

While we always work hard to meet deadlines, DDG Frameshop can accept no liability for failure to do so, or for any consequential costs or inconvenience incurred by the customer.  All timings given for framing completion, deliveries or collection of work will be understood to be approximate. Any transportation organized by DDG Frameshop will be carried out at your own risk, expense, and insurance liability.

Variations in Final Product

We work hard to maintain color and finish consistency in our framing, from piece to piece, and year to year. However, we cannot guarantee complete matching with our woods and matting. The grain of wood varies from piece to piece and while we take great care in selecting timber, we cannot guarantee freedom from knots & other natural figuring, or that frames will match the grain of sample pieces. All stain and color samples are approximate indicators of the final frame color. Please note that the color of wood changes with age and light exposure and this will in turn affect the frame color.

No variation of these Terms and Conditions and no oral stipulations or representations will be binding on DDG Frameshop unless expressly agreed to in writing.
