We had a great time working with the teams at Wherewithal and Hush, along with graphic artist Lydia Turner designing these custom rounded corner frames for Turner’s pieces entering the library at the Agnes Jersey City, designed by Wherewithal. There’s something special that happens when minimal framing makes a perfectly effortless nod to the artwork, blending seamlessly with the artwork and the interiors.

Always something special when a piece of art history comes through our shop doors. This Andy Warhol portrait of Jackie Kennedy Onassis was no exception! Seen here floating in a black maple frame.

Hotel Nine Orchard
We were fortunate to be involved in many great projects in 2022, but one of our favorites was the work we did for the new boutique hotel Nine Orchard. Their incredible location in a renovated landmarked bank on Orchard and Canal in the Lower East Side was recently called by Vogue “the New York Hotel that embodies Downtown glamour”. DDG Frameshop was among great company with the custom furnishings in each of the 116 rooms, including beautiful woodworking and ceramics by BDDW. Editioned prints by prominent NYC artists are displayed throughout the hotel, including works by Brice Marden, Kiki Smith, Maia Ruth Lee, Martha Tuttle, James Sienna, and many more.
